Adam has over eight years of experience working and volunteering on local, state, and federal level political campaigns.
Adam started in politics as a volunteer canvasser on President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, then continued to take a more active role in political organization as a volunteer organizer during the 2010 midterm elections.
After 2010, Adam continued to work hard to ensure that progressive candidates remained competitive in elections as a volunteer canvasser.
During this time, he noticed that there was a disconnect between the resources available to candidates for voter outreach at the local, county, and state levels, when compared with federal races. This gave him the sense that more could be done to ensure that progressive candidates run competitive campaigns in down ballot races.
He opted to pursue his PhD at UCLA in Political Psychology, intent upon developing skills to better identify and turn out voters with a high propensity to vote for candidates that support progressive policy agendas. Since then, he has applied targeted voter identification tactics and data analysis to support campaigns for Senator Kamala Harris and United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA).
